"This was one of my favorite experiences dining abroad. Nights like this make me want to leave American once and for all. The baby squid was perfect, and so were the scallops. The egg tortilla is as authentic as it gets. The chef even gave us complimentary cotton candy. I would recommend this as a must go restaurant when visiting Madrid."

"The creamiest (and tastes like old cheeses) cheesecake we've ever had. The matured beef ribeye is a delicacy and they bring it out at the exact point. Crazy. Another dish we tried was the octopus... Speechless for the grilled taste it had and the unbeatable accompanying parmentiere. The oysters are great and they have a pink Champagne that we loved. And the wines! They even got us international wines that we wanted that were NOT on the menu! They surprised us at all times. We love LEV and it is our second home. Thanks to the lovely team!!!!"

"What a find. This family run restaurant is an absolute gem and a must visit. Dennis looked after us so well. The Gazpacho was the best that we have had - it was so flavoursome without being over the top. The croquettes were delicious - we chose the ham variation and one with truffles both equally delicious. For mains my hubby and I got the seafood paella - which was flavoursome indeed it had prawns, mussels, calamari and squid. Most importantly it had a lovely crisp base and sides just perfect. Our friend had the meatballs and chips which he said were brilliant. We enjoyed some beers and Sangria with our meal and some bread & olive oil. We were too full for dessert but Dennis’s sister brought out some sweets for us and offered us a complementary shot of a cream coffee liqueur (yum). Their mum is the chef and she is brilliant - was pleased to be able to meet her and thank her for the delicious meal. Dennis wouldn’t let us leave until he had created some fairy floss for me to have on my walk home. Absolutely recommend this restaurant and yes we are coming back before we leave Madrid as it’s just too good not to experience it all over again!"

"Madrid’s hidden gem. We only had two nights in Madrid and we went back the second night because the food and drinks were that good. This place is a must!!
